Job summary

The New Jersey Innovation Authority seeks a Director of Product to co-lead the product management practice and drive end-to-end delivery for public services. You will collaborate with design, engineering, and content teams to elevate product thinking, align roadmaps with policy goals, and mentor a diverse team.

This role requires at least seven years in agile product management and two years in people leadership, with a track record of guiding teams from concept to launch and delivering

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of professional experience in agile product management.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in people management.
• Experience guiding end-to-end product development from concept to launch.
• Ability to scale a product team and mentor managers.
• Experience developing and implementing product strategies with roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Product practice leadership and cross-functional collaboration with design and engineering.
• Strategic organizational leadership, staffing, and project intake oversight.
• Mentor and coach product managers and conduct regular feedback sessions.
• Lead end-to-end product management and deliver modern user‑centric solutions.
• Share product practices externally and stay current with civic tech trends.
