Job summary

Vantage Data Centers is seeking a Director of Preconstruction Scheduling to develop and govern scheduling for hyperscale data center projects across North America. You will standardize templates, align with design, procurement, and execution teams, and drive speed-to-market and cost certainty.

You will translate strategy into repeatable processes, oversee CPM scheduling, and ensure schedule realism from concept through handoff, with travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years in scheduling or preconstruction for large-scale developments.
• Expert CPM scheduling, design and preconstruction workflows.
• Experience evaluating contractor capability and inputs.
• Strong communication and cross-functional leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain standardized preconstruction scheduling templates and governance.
• Translate strategy into actionable scheduling workflows for multi-phase campus delivery.
• Create early-stage schedules for site validation and market feasibility.
• Coordinate with design partners and internal teams to ensure schedule realism.
• Deliver coordinated schedules to construction teams and ensure alignment with cost baselines.
