Job summary

Jobot is seeking a senior, hands-on SRE leader to take ownership of our platform availability and reliability. This player/coach role combines leadership with deep technical authority across multi-cloud environments, Kubernetes, and incident response.

You will mentor a growing SRE/Platform team, set SLOs/SLIs, and partner with executive leadership to drive reliability while scaling the business.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in SRE, platform, or infrastructure engineering, including principal-level technical and people-leadership roles.
• Startup experience (required).
• Proven people management experience leading SRE, platform, or infrastructure teams.
• Recognized, hands-on subject matter expertise in site reliability engineering.

Responsibilities

• Own platform availability, reliability, and performance for customer-facing AI security products.
• Lead, mentor, and grow the SRE/Platform team while staying hands-on in architecture, automation, and production work.
• Serve as the go-to subject matter expert on reliability, setting the technical bar for engineering.
• Define and drive SLOs, SLIs, error budgets, and reliability standards across the organization.
• Architect and evolve scalable, resilient infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Lead incident management, on-call practices, and blameless postmortems, and drive fixes to root cause.
• Build observability, monitoring, and alerting that gives the business real visibility into platform health.
• Improve CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and deployment practices to increase velocity without sacrificing stability.
• Report on platform health and reliability strategy directly to executive leadership.

What We Are Looking For:

We are seeking a senior, hands-on SRE leader to take significant ownership of our overall platform availability and reliability for customers. This is a true player/coach role: you will manage and grow a team, but your credibility will come from being the deepest reliability expert in the room. Think of it as a “Chief SRE Engineer,” a principal-level technical authority who can architect the solution, debug the incident, and lead the people. You will operate across a multi-cloud environment, partner closely with engineering leadership, and have direct visibility with our executive team. We need someone who has thrived in a startup environment and knows how to build reliability practices while the company scales quickly.

What You Will Do:

• Track record leading incident response and building reliability culture
• Ability to communicate clearly with executive leadership and influence senior engineers
• Security, AI/ML infrastructure, or cybersecurity product experience a plus
