Hughston in Columbus, GA is seeking a Director of Physical Therapy to oversee the daily operations of the Physical Therapy Department and ensure the needs of patients and physicians are met. This full-time role emphasizes policy updates, budget management, compliance, and effective patient care coordination.

The position requires graduate PT/PTA credentials, minimum two years clinical experience, and supervisory experience preferred.

Competenze

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of physical therapy or Physical Therapy Assistant.

Mansioni

• Provide oversight for development, direction and coordination of all Physically Therapy staff.
• Responsible for updating PT policies and procedures.
• Review PT workflow and processes to ensure billing and documentation requirements are met daily.
• Develop and maintain departmental budgets, reporting on variances monthly.
• Maintain all PT regulatory guidelines and standards.
• Manage PT inventory management including supply ordering, receiving and stocking.
• Assist staff and physicians in problem solving regarding brace fitting and patient needs.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with patients, physicians, staff, and corporate staff.
• Ensure PT staff provide direct patient care activities as assigned.
• Ensure physicians’ needs are met regarding rehabilitative services.
• Plan and administer medically prescribed PT treatments to restore function and relieve pain.
