Job summary

The Hughston Clinic is seeking a qualified leader to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Physical Therapy Department in Georgia. This role ensures patient and physician needs are met while maintaining high standards of care and department efficiency.

Responsibilities include policy updates, budgeting oversight, and ensuring accurate billing and documentation. The position requires a PT/PTA license and prior supervisory experience in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience as Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Current state license in PT or PTA.
• Experience with budgeting and policy updates.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development, direction and coordination of all Physical Therapy staff.
• Update PT policies and procedures.
• Review PT workflow and processes for daily billing and documentation compliance.
• Develop and maintain departmental budgets; report variances monthly.
• Ensure regulatory guidelines and Medicare compliance for PT services.
• Manage PT inventory, supply orders, invoicing and staff training.
• Collaborate with physicians to solve patient care issues and ensure quality care.
