EveryMind is seeking a seasoned Director of Development to accelerate major giving, corporate partnerships, and donor engagement in the Washington, DC metro area. You will lead a small team, partner with the CAO, CEO, and Board, and drive a culture of philanthropy across the organization.

The role requires 8+ years in fundraising, 3+ years in supervision, and a track record of building donor pipelines, soliciting gifts, and expanding corporate sponsorships.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive fundraising experience
• 3+ years of supervision experience
• Proven ability to cultivate, solicit, and close gifts
• Experience building pipelines and leading moves management systems
• Experience engaging donors across multiple giving levels and segments

Responsibilities

• Lead Individual Giving Strategy & Execution: identify donors, design moves management, manage portfolio, engage CAO/CEO/Board.
• Grow Corporate Giving & Partnerships: cultivate partnerships, seek new opportunities, strengthen community engagement.
• Drive Donor Engagement & Communications: develop donor-centered messaging and campaigns with Marketing.
• Lead and mentor staff; foster collaborative, inclusive culture across Advancement and with program leaders.
