Job summary

WellSpan Health is seeking a strategic philanthropy leader to plan, execute, and report on comprehensive fundraising programs, events, and donor stewardship. You will guide corporate giving, community initiatives, and annual giving while building community relations.

You will lead a unified philanthropy team, align activities with System plans, and drive best practices to foster a culture of philanthropy across WellSpan. The role emphasizes collaboration, leadership, and measurable impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5 years of development implementation and volunteer leadership experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Strong writing ability and problem-solving, analytical judgment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Raiser's Edge.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute and report on philanthropy activities and events.
• Develop donor cultivation, solicitation and stewardship plans.
• Lead Hospital Foundation committees and community engagement.
• Ensure ROI and financial effectiveness of events; adjust as needed.
• Collaborate with System development team to standardize processes.
