Zusammenfassung

CPS, part of the Optum family, is seeking a Director of Pharmacy to lead all hospital pharmacy operations. The role collaborates with hospital leadership to implement innovative practices, supported by CPS software and a dedicated team.

The position is full-time, exempt, with a 40-hour work week, Monday–Friday, offering a comprehensive benefits package and performance incentives. Salary ranges based on experience.

Qualifikationen

ACPE-accredited pharmacy degree.
Current Illinois Pharmacist license in good standing.
2+ years of acute hospital experience or equivalent.

Aufgaben

Provide strategic leadership and oversight for pharmacy services within a hospital.
Ensure safe, effective, and evidence-based medication use and formulary management.
Lead and develop pharmacy leadership and staff including managers, pharmacists, technicians, and support teams.
Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and legal requirements (Joint Commission, CMS, USP, BOP, state/federal laws).
Oversee pharmacy financial performance including budgeting, purchasing, and contract management.
Collaborate with executive leadership and stakeholders to support patient care, quality and safety initiatives.
Drive innovation and performance improvement using data and technology.
