Job summary

Perham Health in Minnesota is seeking a strategic Director of Pharmacy to lead hospital, long-term care, and retail pharmacy services.

You will provide leadership for operations, budgeting, staffing, and ensuring quality, safety, and regulatory compliance across the system, including oversight of the 340B program.

Licensed by the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy with a minimum of five years in pharmacy; leadership experience preferred. This full-time, exempt role is primarily Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist licensed in Minnesota (Board of Pharmacy).
• Minimum of five years of pharmacy experience.
• Experience in hospital, long-term care and retail operations is preferred.
• Leadership experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the pharmacy department, overseeing operations, budgeting, staffing, and regulatory compliance.
• Lead, mentor, and develop pharmacy staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
• Ensure quality, safety, and compliance across hospital, long-term care, and retail pharmacy services, including oversight of the 340B program.
• Implement best practices, streamline workflows, and integrate emerging industry trends to optimize pharmacy operations.
• Collaborate across departments to support organizational goals and serve on committees that advance Perham Health’s mission.
