Job summary

Scientific Safety Alliance (SSA) seeks a Director of Performance Management to architect an operating system that defines, measures, and rewards high performance across the organization. You will extend the system from frontline technicians to broader teams, ensuring consistency and clear excellence criteria across roles.

You will drive onboarding milestones, calibration, and career pathways, using data, assessments, and leader input to refine what excellence looks like and how it translates

Qualifications

• 5+ years in performance management or related field.
• Designed and deployed a performance system from scratch.
• Front-line experience with hourly or field-based workforces.
• Evidence-based approach using assessments and data to drive decisions.
• Ability to work with executives and frontline leaders.

Responsibilities

• Define role scorecards and success profiles for SSA roles.
• Build the performance operating system with onboarding milestones, reviews, calibration, and career paths.
• Make the system evidence-based using manager input, outcomes, and validated assessments.
• Partner with branch and functional leaders to ensure system adoption.
• Connect performance to compensation, promotions, and talent development.
