Job summary

Stellarus Technology seeks a Director of Performance Engineering and Test Automation to design and operate automated performance validation across our payer and platform services. You will own testing strategy, tooling, and release gates, partnering with developers to raise reliability before production.

Lead initiatives in AI-assisted test generation, synthetic monitoring, and observability. Drive culture of continuous improvement, capacity planning, and production readiness across the stack.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a technical field.
• Experience building automated test systems and load testing frameworks.
• Hands-on in performance testing of distributed systems and cloud-native apps.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, containers, and observability tools.
• Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Own strategy and implementation for performance testing and reliability validation.
• Define standards, tooling, and patterns for testing across services.
• Partner with engineering to improve quality, speed, and signals.
• Lead synthetic monitoring, test data automation, and release gates.
• Evaluate AI-assisted engineering tools for test generation and automation.
