Job summary

Long Island Power Authority (LIPA) is seeking a Director, Performance Assessment and Process Optimization to provide strategic leadership for enterprise performance‑management, continuous improvement, and service provider oversight.

You will translate strategic priorities into measurable objectives, lead cross‑functional improvement initiatives, and deliver data‑driven insights to senior leadership and the Board.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, public administration, analytics, or a related field.
• Advanced analytical and data‑literacy skills.
• Strong executive‑level communication and presentation abilities.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and drive improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead the governance and evolution of LIPA’s performance measurement framework.
• Develop and assess KPI targets with stakeholders (PSEG Long Island, DPS).
• Establish a structured process‑optimization program and track benefits.
• Create executive dashboards and board materials with actionable insights.
• Collaborate across functions on performance‑related operational matters.
