Job summary

Emory Healthcare seeks a Director, Patient Care Service to lead and manage clinical operations across an Emory healthcare unit. You will partner with ACNOs, VP Nursing, and Medical Directors to shape nursing strategy, supervise budgets, and champion value-based care.

The role requires strong leadership, collaboration, and a track record in quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and financial stewardship in a complex health system.

Qualifications

• Requires Master's degree in nursing or an equivalent Master’s with BSN; nursing background mandatory.
• Master of Science in Athletic Training required for orthopedic areas (non-nursing).
• Minimum 7+ years of progressively responsible senior nursing leadership experience.
• RN license (GA) active or multistate license (eNLC) eligibility within 60 days if overseeing virtual care.
• Nurse Executive Certification (NE-BC/NEA-BC) or CNML/CENP to be obtained within 1 year of entry.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of strategic growth and operational objectives for the service.
• Collaborate with ACNOs, physicians, and nursing staff to align goals with mission.
• Use data analytics to project growth, financial impact, and service vision.
• Oversee policies, training programs, and clinical competencies across the health system.
• Drive quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and patient-centered care.
