Job summary

University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking a Director of PATH Services to lead UNC-Chapel Hill's substance use prevention, intervention, and recovery program within Student Affairs. The role reports to the Executive Director of Health and Wellbeing and oversees clinical and administrative functions, budgets, and staff.

The Director will shape PATH's strategy, supervise four professionals, and collaborate with campus partners to advance prevention, treatment, and recovery initiatives

Qualifications

• Progressively responsible post-master's experience in substance use prevention, intervention, and recovery supports.
• Demonstrated supervisory or management experience, including hiring, training, evaluating, and supporting professional staff.
• Experience working in or closely with higher education settings and understanding college student development.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight for PATH Services.
• Develop PATH's strategic plan, goals, and evaluation framework.
• Supervise staff and manage diverse funding sources across programs.
