Health Solutions West is seeking a Director of Outpatient Services for the Yampa Valley, based in Craig and Steamboat Springs. The role leads outpatient behavioral health programs, ensuring accessibility and high quality care across communities served.

The successful candidate will oversee clinical and operational functions, collaborate with the leadership team, and drive performance using data to improve access, engagement, and outcomes. A Master’s degree and Colorado licensure are required.

The successful candidate must be able to use clinical and operational data to evaluate performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and support teams in achieving organizational and program goals.Job purpose: The Director of Outpatient Services provides clinical and operational leadership for outpatient behavioral health services at Health Solutions West. The Director is responsible for ensuring services are accessible, high quality, person-centered, and responsive to the needs of the individuals and communities served.As a member of the Clinical Services leadership team, the Director develops and supports program leaders, strengthens coordination across services, and ensures outpatient operations align with Health Solutions West's mission, strategic priorities, clinical standards, and organizational goals.Knowledge, Skill & AbilityKnowledge of outpatient behavioral health services, clinical standards, evidence-based practices, and applicable regulatory requirements.Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop staff, establish expectations, manage performance, and promote accountability.Ability to use clinical and operational data to evaluate access, client engagement, caseloads, productivity, quality, and overall program performance.Strong critical-thinking, decision-making, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Ability to identify barriers and implement improvements that strengthen service delivery, client access, engagement, and continuity of care.Ability to lead effectively through change while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships across teams, leadership, and community partners.Ability to collaborate across programs and disciplines to support coordinated, person-centered care.Ability to exercise sound professional judgment and appropriately manage sensitive and confidential information.Ability to work independently, take initiative, delegate effectively, and contribute as part of a leadership team.Ability to model the mission, values, and leadership expectations of Health Solutions West.Proficiency with electronic health record systems, Microsoft 365 applications, and standard office technology.Working Conditions/Physical Demands: Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
