Job summary

City Wide Facility Solutions is seeking a Director of Operations to lead our Greenville, SC operations. You will manage FSMs, drive revenue and profits, and ensure client retention above 90%. You will hire/train staff, coordinate vendor/IC relationships, and promote cross-selling with the sales team.

Travel within the market up to 50% and hands-on leadership in the field will be required as you backfill as needed. Competitive compensation with comprehensive benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in a sales, account management or operations role with increased responsibility.
• Demonstrated track record of success managing a sales and/or account management team.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to train and develop staff and provide leadership.
• Strong time management and multitasking capabilities.
• Professional demeanor when interacting with clients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Effectively manage, develop, and lead a team of Facility Service Managers (FSMs) that support our clients.
• Achieve annual revenues and profits, manage expenses, IC margins, and overall financial performance.
• Identify, hire and train operational employees including FSMs and Night Managers.
• Develop and maintain positive client relationships and achieve client retention above 90%.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and Independent Contractors.
• Ensure ICs are compliant with requirements and meet client scope of work.
• Promote cross-selling opportunities with the sales team and drive non-janitorial services.
• Participate in all new client starts and ensure building inspections are completed and data in CRM.
• Conduct 60-day reviews, Level 5 meetings and annual reviews for staff.
• Work in the field with FSMs and backfill as needed.
• Travel within market, up to 50%.
