Job summary

ADVANTAGE MEDIA SERVICES LLC is seeking a senior operations leader for our CA Valencia warehouse to drive productivity, control costs, and optimize processes. The role demands oversight of P&L, staffing, and performance metrics, with collaboration across finance and sales teams.

Ideal candidate brings 5+ years in senior operations, strong communication, Excel proficiency, and experience with WMS systems. English and Spanish skills are a plus; bachelor’s degree in operations is preferred.

Job Details: Job Location: CA 28624 Witherspoon Warehouse - Valencia, CA 91355, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: $83,000.00 - $150,000.00 Salary, Job Shift: Day, This position is a key senior management position responsible for all areas of assigned operations and requires heavy involvement in the oversight, approval and planning processes of the following areas: cost efficiency, maintaining staffing levels, monitoring and improving levels of productivity and quality, providing senior management with vital reports and maintain a P&L for the warehouse and operations.

Essential Job Functions

• Drive, review, development and implementation of operational process to increase productivity and reduce cost
• Accountable for warehouse operations, including but not limited to, introduce and expand consistent operation practices across the business to significantly improve productivity, quality, and profitability
• Provide analysis of business results to Chief Operating Officer on a periodic basis
• Participate in the strategic planning process of operations
• Plan and review upgrade systems and procedures
• Identify, analyze and make recommendations to correct and mitigate of problems
• Participate in freight negotiations
• Responsible for monitoring agreed operating metrics regarding units processed per hour, quality levels, and revenue per hour and revenue per square foot
• Create and operate within budget
• Responsible for all inbound/outbound transportation operations
• Establish and modify as necessary, all policies and procedures for operation departments
• Generate purchase requests for materials required for operations
• Provide time and motion pricing to the sales department
• Responsible for safety, training & guidelines
• Review client pricing and contractual commitments to assure compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of demonstrated senior level operations or related leadership experience
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
• Excellent communication skills including verbal and written presentation skills
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with proven ability to develop effective process for new, and difficult operation problems
• Demonstrated skills with Microsoft Excel, word, power point, and experience with working with WMS systems
• Experience in shipping consumer product to retail, distribution centers, and direct to consumer. Including the accompanying skills of EDI labeling, charge back avoidance, routing guide adherence, multi shipper/courier environment including
• Experience as a team builder, leader, coach & motivator
• Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus but not required
• College graduate or equivalent experience in operations

Working Conditions

This job operates in a warehouse environment and could be exposed to various temperature changes. This role typically requires standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting.
