Job summary

Advantage Media Services in Valencia, CA is seeking a senior operations leader to manage all areas of assigned operations, oversee cost efficiency, staffing, productivity and quality, and provide senior management with key reports and a P&L for the warehouse and operations.

This role drives process improvements, budget adherence, inbound/outbound logistics, and policy development, with emphasis on delivering results, leading teams, and coordinating with sales on pricing and freight.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of demonstrated senior level operations or related leadership experience.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
• Excellent communication skills including verbal and written presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive, review, development and implementation of operational process to increase productivity and reduce cost.
• Accountable for warehouse operations, including but not limited to, introduce and expand consistent operation practices across the business to significantly improve productivity, quality, and profitability.
• Provide analysis of business results to Chief Operating Officer on a periodic basis.
• Participate in the strategic planning process of operations.
• Plan and review upgrade systems and procedures.
• Identify, analyze and make recommendations to correct and mitigate of problems.
• Participate in freight negotiations.
• Responsible for monitoring agreed operating metrics regarding units processed per hour, quality levels, and revenue per hour and revenue per square foot.
• Create and operate within budget.
• Responsible for all inbound/outbound transportation operations.
• Establish and modify as necessary, all policies and procedures for operation departments.
• Generate purchase requests for materials required for operations.
• Provide time and motion pricing to the sales department.
• Responsible for safety, training & guidelines.
• Review client pricing and contractual commitments to assure compliance.

Job Details: Job Location: CA 28624 Witherspoon Warehouse - Valencia, CA 91355, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: $83,000.00 - $150,000.00 Salary, Job Shift: Day, This position is a key senior management position responsible for all areas of assigned operations and requires heavy involvement in the oversight, approval and planning processes of the following areas: cost efficiency, maintaining staffing levels, monitoring and improving levels of productivity and quality, providing senior management with vital reports and maintain a P&L for the warehouse and operations.

• Demonstrated skills with Microsoft Excel, word, power point, and experience with working with WMS systems
• Experience in shipping consumer product to retail, distribution centers, and direct to consumer. Including the accompanying skills of EDI labeling, charge back avoidance, routing guide adherence, multi shipper/courier environment including
• Experience as a team builder, leader, coach & motivator
• Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus but not required
• College graduate or equivalent experience in operations

Working Conditions

This job operates in a warehouse environment and could be exposed to various temperature changes. This role typically requires standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting.
