Job summary

Maimonides Fund seeks a Director of Operations to lead a ~20-person office in New York City, manage personnel, IT and vendor relations, and champion AI-enabled workflows. The role reports to the Managing Director, North America, and expects strong communication, discretion, and strategic process improvement.

This full-time position is four days in Manhattan with one day remote, requiring occasional after-hours work. A competitive benefits package and deferred bonus opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• 8+ years of operational leadership in a dynamic office environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with high emotional intelligence.
• Experience handling sensitive information with discretion.
• Familiarity with AI tools and collaboration with IT leadership.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and develop MF's Operations Team (approx. 4 staff).
• Ensure personnel processes, onboarding/offboarding, evaluations, and training are current.
• Coordinate between Program, Finance, IT, and Operations across NYC and Israel.
• Drive new procedures and system implementations with IT leadership support.
• Oversee IT support, security policy alignment, and vendor negotiations.
• Maintain an efficient office space and lead renovation projects and purchases.
