Job summary

Align Communications in New York City is seeking an Operations Manager to drive operational excellence across Managed and Professional Services. You will design scalable processes, create dashboards, and build AI-enabled solutions to improve execution.

The role requires cross-functional leadership, strong analytics, and experience shaping forecasting, budgeting, and performance management. Hybrid work model with base salary range $140,000–$160,000 plus bonuses and benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in operations management, business operations, data analytics, or a related discipline.
• Advanced experience building dashboards and reports using Power BI or a comparable platform.
• Strong analytical, forecasting, financial analysis, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel and experience combining data from multiple business systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable procedures, tools, and operational rhythms that improve efficiency and accountability.
• Partner with multiple functions to align reporting and operational needs.
• Track expenditures, KPIs, and conduct ROI analyses to support decisions.
• Translate data into executive-level recommendations and strategic planning.
• Establish scorecards, business reviews, and accountability mechanisms.
• Identify bottlenecks and lead measurable improvements.
• Design and maintain executive dashboards and reporting using Power BI.
• Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Develop forecasting models for resources, revenue, backlog, capacity, and service operations.
• Consolidate data from multiple systems for consistent reporting.
• Translate complex datasets into clear findings and actions for leadership.
• Increase dashboard adoption by guiding users and gathering feedback.
• Apply AI and automation to operational workflows and decision support.
• Implement AI-enabled solutions using Microsoft Copilot, Power Platform, and related tools.
• Reduce repetitive manual work via automation of reporting and data prep.
• Evaluate emerging AI capabilities and business use cases for value and feasibility.
• Partner with stakeholders to document solutions and drive adoption.
