Job description

We're hiring a Director of Operations to lead the Loans Enablement platform for a major global financial services organization in Houston, TX. This is a strategy-and-delivery role for someone who has run operations at scale — not a day-to-day processing seat. You'll own the operations roadmap for the platform, partner directly with Engineering and platform leadership, and build the metrics and controls that keep a large, complex loan operations function running well.

Location: Houston, TX

Compensation: $180,000 to $220,000

What You'll Do

• Own the operations strategy for the Loans Enablement platform, partnering with Engineering and platform leadership on priorities and delivery
• Lead operations service delivery across multiple teams and managers, driving improvements in client experience, cost, and control effectiveness
• Build and manage operational metrics, KRIs, and reporting, with clear thresholds and escalation paths
• Partner with Engineering/Technology to define and roll out new tools and digital capabilities
• Engage directly with clients on efficiency and benchmarking
• Identify and build out operations talent for the platform
• Collaborate with operations leaders across other platforms to share best practices and streamline handoffs
• Own communication of platform priorities to operations staff

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of operations experience, including experience owning a strategy or platform end-to-end, not just processing oversight
• Experience managing through other managers, not just direct reports
• Track record partnering with Engineering/Technology to build or deploy new tools
• Experience defining and tracking operational metrics and KRIs
• Ability to operate autonomously and influence cross-functionally at a senior level

Preferred

• Hands-on syndicated loan experience, including familiarity with ClearPar and LSTA
• Prior loan operations experience in a financial services setting
