Qualifications

• 2-3 years of management or leadership experience within California home care or skilled home health environments.
• Extensive experience managing office operations, including personnel onboarding, compliance, and scheduling coordination.
• Strong understanding of California home care operations (CDSS regulations, EVV systems) to oversee the administrative team effectively.
• High energy and proactive approach to optimizing workflows and converting leads into clients.
• Operational coverage support during emergencies.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Oversee Office Operations: Manage a lean team focused on efficient scheduling, caregiver onboarding, and maintaining high client satisfaction.
• Accelerate Census Onboarding: Lead community intake consultations with potential clients/families and streamline the onboarding process for new admissions
• Operational Quality Control: Ensure general alignment with California home care standards and accurate billing/visit verification records through an optimized team workflow
• Culture & Leadership: Foster a vibrant, solutions-oriented culture that motivates office staff and field caregivers alike to deliver exceptional care
• Strategic Coordination: Collaborate with company leadership to design, execute, and report on internal metrics and strategic scaling initiatives

Requirements & Qualifications

• Proven Operations Track Record: 2-3 years of management or leadership experience within California home care or skilled home health environments
• Operational Familiarity: Extensive experience managing office operations, including personnel onboarding, compliance, and scheduling coordination
• Regulatory Awareness: Strong understanding of California home care operations (CDSS regulations, EVV systems) to oversee the administrative team effectively
• Growth Mindset: High energy and a proactive approach to optimizing workflows, resolving bottlenecks, and smoothly converting incoming leads into active clients
• Emergency Coverage: Support the team operationally when emergency coverage situations arise
• Mobility: Valid driver’s license and the willingness to travel as needed throughout San Diego County for operational needs and community events

Preferred Background & Skills

• Strong background in private-pay client onboarding
• Prior experience initiating Medi-Cal client applications and setting up home health pipelines
• Familiarity with industry software tools such as eCaring, Gusto Payroll, and QuickBooks
