Kimmel & Associates, Inc. in Northeast Ohio seeks a Director of Operations to oversee project execution, lead field and project management teams, and drive consistency across federal construction projects.

This senior leader ensures safety, schedule, and budgets while maintaining client relationships and profitability; you will guide Project Managers and Superintendents across multiple concurrent projects and partner with executive leadership on strategic priorities.

Qualifications

• Progressive construction leadership with multi-project oversight.
• Experience leading Project Managers and Superintendents across concurrent projects.
• Federal government construction experience preferred.
• Projects ranging from $1M to $20M; strong financial management.
• Knowledge of FAR, prevailing-wage requirements and federal construction basics.
• Procore experience strongly preferred; proficient with MS Project/Primavera.
• Ability to travel regularly to active sites across regions.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.

Responsabilités

• Lead and mentor Project Managers and Superintendents for performance and development.
• Oversee safety, quality, scheduling, staffing, and client satisfaction.
• Identify risks, resolve challenges, and implement recovery plans.
• Manage resource allocation and project prioritization across portfolios.
• Review forecasts, costs-to-complete, and margin risks to protect profitability.
• Develop and standardize operating procedures and project controls.
• Foster strong client, subcontractor, and vendor relationships.
• Partner with executives on strategy, staffing, and key accounts.
• Drive continuous improvement in delivery and standards.
