Job summary

Urban Pathways is seeking a Director of Operations to oversee program facilities, maintenance, security, kitchen operations, and safety compliance. You will collaborate with the Program Director and clinical staff to ensure a safe, well-maintained environment for clients and staff, while supervising operations staff and managing daily activities.

Qualifications

• Three+ years in building operations and security with supervisory experience.
• Experience with homeless, mentally-ill and substance abuse populations preferred.
• Strong computer literacy and MS Office skills.
• Knowledge of fire safety and facility maintenance.
• Valid Driver’s License and ability to perform field work.

Responsibilities

• Oversee program facilities including maintenance, security, and safety compliance.
• Lead operations staff and supervise security, kitchen, and maintenance teams.
• Ensure fire safety guidelines are documented and followed.
• Develop preventive maintenance plans and manage vendor relationships.
• Coordinate with Program Director on emergency responses and incident reporting.
