The Nature Conservancy in Minneapolis is seeking an Associate Director of Operations and Engagement to lead chapter operations across Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota. You will supervise facilities, procurement, IT, and office services, while driving employee engagement and an inclusive workplace culture.

You will partner with HR, Finance, and other support teams to streamline processes, implement change, and support mission delivery.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree and 6 years related experience or equivalent combination, including 2 years managing operations functions.
• Experience leading and implementing multiple projects.
• Experience working with teams across an organization.
• Supervisory experience including setting objectives, managing performance, and conflict resolution.
• Experience developing, managing, and implementing goals, plans, and complex processes;
• Experience working in partnership with others in a collaborative or advisory role.

Aufgaben

• Provide leadership and oversight for chapter operations, ensuring staff have facilities, systems, resources, services, and support to advance priorities.
• Lead and coach direct reports and matrixed staff, promoting collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Oversee employee engagement, onboarding, recognition, staff events, and belonging initiatives.
• Coordinate cross-functional planning with HR, Finance, Contracts, IT and other services to improve service delivery.
• Lead workplace planning, facilities management, and space planning across MN, ND, SD; manage transitions and change initiatives.
