Job summary

Green Key Resources has partnered with a well-established GC to hire a Director of Operations to lead an Amazon-focused ground-up construction group across the Southeast. The role is ideal for a Senior PM or early Director stepping into broader leadership while staying hands-on.

The position oversees 10–12 PMs/APMs, delivers warehouse and cold storage projects, and requires travel through the Southeast, with strong growth potential and a competitive overall package.

Qualifications

• Strong GC background coming up through the PM side.
• Senior PM / Project Executive or early Director level experience.
• Light industrial/warehouse ground-up construction experience.

This is a great opportunity for a strong Senior Project Manager or early Project Executive/Director ready to step into a larger leadership role while staying close to the work.

The Role:

• Oversee a team of 10-12 PMs, APMs, and Project Coordinators
• Lead delivery of ground-up Amazon, light industrial, warehouse, and cold storage projects
• Allocate teams and resources while supporting successful project delivery
• Partner with regional leadership and travel throughout the Southeast as needed

What They're Looking For:

• Strong GC background coming up through the project management side
• Senior PM, Project Executive, or early Director-level experience
• Light Industrial (warehouse, distribution, cold storage) ground-up construction experience required
• Proven ability to lead multiple project teams and develop people
