Job summary

Republic Services seeks a Director of Operations Analytics to lead the Data Science, Analytics Engineering, and BI teams across Collection Operations, Safety, Fleet, and Environmental Solutions. The role defines analytics roadmap, develops forecasting and staffing models, and delivers data products used by field leaders to optimize routes and coaching insights.

The position requires 10+ years in analytics, 5+ years in leadership, and a track record delivering ML in production.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in data science, advanced analytics, or business intelligence.
• 5+ years of experience leading teams, including 2+ years leading through other managers.
• Experience delivering machine learning or advanced analytics solutions into production use.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Operations Analytics organization, roadmap, and product portfolio.
• Partner with Operations leaders to communicate results in operational and financial terms.
• Direct modeling and analytics to derive key operating metrics and improve performance.
• Drive ML Ops, data platforms, and analytics products across the enterprise.
