About the Role

We are seeking a Director of Operations who is experienced in manufacturing leadership and passionate about shaping the future of dental and orthodontic care. This individual will be a key strategic partner to senior leadership, overseeing multi-site, regulatory-compliant operations including engineering, manufacturing, software-driven workflows, and global distribution.

You will bring a Lean Six Sigma mindset, hands-on experience in high-tech operations, and a visionary leadership style rooted in transformational principles (Covey, Carnegie, etc.). If you're eager to make a difference, this is your platform.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead all manufacturing and distribution operations focusing on efficiency, compliance, scalability, and innovation.
2. Partner with executive leadership to define and implement strategic goals across operations, engineering, quality, and supply chain.
3. Drive process improvements using Lean, Six Sigma, and digital transformation principles.
4. Oversee implementation and maintenance of regulatory systems (FDA, ISO 13485, cGMP).
5. Manage cross-functional teams in a multi-site, international environment.
6. Introduce operational best practices around 3D printing/additive manufacturing, SaaS/CAD platforms, and ERP/MRP systems.
7. Build a culture of high performance, learning, and empowerment.
8. Champion continuous improvement, operational KPIs, and cost efficiency.
9. Stay ahead of trends in smart manufacturing, software integration, and emerging technology.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Location: Based in or willing to relocate to North Texas.
• Experience: 7+ years in operations leadership within medical device, tech-enabled manufacturing, or regulated industries.
• Education: B.S. in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Technical Skills:
• Strong knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, ISO 13485, FDA regulations.
• Familiarity with 3D printing, CAD software, or SaaS workflows.
• Strong command of MRP/ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools.
