Job summary

Alignment Health is seeking a Director, Process Improvement & Operational Excellence to identify and lead cross-functional initiatives that boost performance, scalability, quality and efficiency in a Medicare Advantage environment.

You will partner with business leaders to redesign processes, implement sustainable solutions, and drive execution of transformation programs while building dashboards to track impact.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in provider operations, healthcare operations, or related functions.
• 5+ years leading large-scale cross-functional transformation initiatives in healthcare, managed care, or health plan environments.
• Experience developing business cases, transformation roadmaps, and performance measurement frameworks.
• Experience implementing Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong experience developing KPIs, operational dashboards, and performance management systems.
• Knowledge of healthcare delivery models, provider performance management, and value-based care principles.

Responsibilities

• Identify operational inefficiencies, performance gaps, and workflow bottlenecks across the organization.
• Lead current-state and future-state process redesign efforts to improve efficiency, quality, scalability, and service performance.
• Develop implementation plans and drive execution of approved transformation initiatives.
• Establish standards, best practices, and continuous improvement methodologies across supported business areas.
• Partner with business leaders to evaluate operating models and identify opportunities for increased effectiveness.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives and ensure initiatives are successfully implemented with defined outcomes.
