Cancer Care Northwest seeks an experienced Pharmacy Leader to oversee day-to-day oncology pharmacy operations, drive clinical excellence, and develop policies to maintain compliant, high‑quality drug therapy across the organization.

As a member of the executive leadership team, you will shape formulary strategies, manage inventory, and collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• PharmD or BS in Pharmacy from an accredited school.
• Current Washington pharmacist license or ability to obtain before start.
• Minimum five years of pharmacy practice with oncology experience.
• Preferred: supervisory experience, PGY1/PGY2 oncology residency, BCOP/BCPS.

Responsabilités

• Direct day-to-day oversight of pharmacy operations
• Hire, onboard, supervise, and evaluate pharmacists and pharmacy technicians
• Develop and maintain policies to ensure USP/NIOSH/DEA/OSHA compliance
• Participate in executive leadership proceedings, including Policy & Procedure and Quality committees
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals on medication utilization and education
• Develop pharmacist-driven protocols (e.g. dosing, dose rounding)
• Oversee drug inventory, pricing, shortages, recalls
• Develop and review treatment protocols and regimen builds
• Serve as Authorized Representative for REMS programs
• Conduct pharmacoeconomic analyses for formulary development
• Oversee relations with wholesalers and GPOs; liaise with pharma
• Provide clinical pharmacist coverage for chemotherapy/infusion plans and verification
• Assist with medication charging and billing procedures
• Maintain ongoing professional development and licensure
