Job summary

Cancer Care Northwest in Spokane, WA is seeking an experienced Pharmacist leader to oversee oncology pharmacy services. You will guide daily operations, policy development, and strategic initiatives as a member of the executive team to ensure safe, high‑quality patient care.

The role requires Doctor of Pharmacy or PharmD with Washington licensure, at least five years of pharmacy practice experience including oncology, and a track record in staff development and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Requires PharmD or BPharm from an accredited school.
• Washington pharmacist licensure or ability to obtain before start date.
• Minimum five years of pharmacy practice with oncology experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day oversight of oncology pharmacy operations.
• Develop and maintain policies ensuring USP, NIOSH, DEA, OSHA compliance.
• Participate in executive leadership and Quality committees.
• Collaborate with clinicians on medication utilization and education.
• Develop pharmacist-driven oncology protocols and formulary processes.
• Oversee inventory, pricing, shortages, recalls, and REMS where applicable.
• Support professional development and continuing education for staff.
