Qualifications

• PhD in cell biology, molecular biology, genomics, or related field with publications.
• 10+ years in cell biology, omics, and computational biology with leadership experience.
• Ability to derive biological insights from large omics datasets and communicate to teams.
• Experience leading technical and scientific teams.
• Strong expertise in automation, AI-enabled discovery, and data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development and scaling of omics assays with a transcriptomics core.
• Lead automation and robotics deployment across sequencing and data acquisition.
• Partner to establish an agentic AI strategy for automated design and QC.
• Own compute strategy (cloud/HPC), workflow orchestration, and data products.
• Mentor talent and foster safety, quality, and rapid learning in the team.
