Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field with 2–5 years of employment experience in risk management, insurance, hazardous waste, and workplace safety.
• Experience or certifications in risk management and insurance preferred.
• Coursework or certifications in OSHA workplace safety requirements preferred.
• Experience with hazardous material pickup and removal preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct fire and life safety surveys of college buildings and manage the Notice of Violation process.
• Oversee workers’ compensation insured/self-insured program and liaise with county risk management.
• Coordinate insurance procurement and interact with brokers and college personnel on policy matters.
• Review risk and insurance requirements for college events and trips.
