Cantex in Richardson, TX seeks a Director of Nursing Services (DON) to oversee all clinical operations in the Skilled Nursing Facility. You will provide strategic nursing leadership, ensure regulatory compliance, and direct the Nursing Department to deliver high-quality, safe, and compassionate resident care.

This role demands SNF survey readiness, staffing management, and hands-on supervision of RN leaders.

Qualificações

• Current and valid state-specific Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience as a DON or ADON in a Skilled Nursing Facility
• Strong knowledge of state and federal long-term care regulations
• Experience with survey readiness, Plans of Correction (POCs), and quality improvement
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to coach, mentor, and develop nursing staff
• Ability to read, write, and speak the English language

Responsabilidades

• Provide overall clinical leadership to ensure high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, and strong clinical outcomes
• Oversee, direct, and support nursing staff in the delivery of safe, effective, and compassionate care
• Oversee the comprehensive care planning process and ensure interdisciplinary coordination
• Uphold resident rights, including dignity, privacy, informed consent, and safety
• Ensure timely communication with physicians, families, and responsible parties regarding significant changes in condition
• Participate in pre-admission assessments and approve admissions in coordination with the Administrator
• Lead 24/7 nursing operations and assume Administrator duties when delegated
• Maintain compliance with health, fire, safety, sanitation, OSHA, and disaster-preparedness standards
