Job Overview

The Director of Nursing Services provides leadership and management to the skilled nursing operations, overseeing planning, organization, and overall operations of nursing services to ensure quality care and compliance with standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage clinical care delivery operations, supervise team management, and implement systems for quality service.
• Ensure staffing, scheduling, and communication among teams to promote effective resident care.
• Maintain communication with physicians, families, and providers to meet residents' needs.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with regulations, conduct quality assurance, and develop correction plans.
• Handle medication management, regulatory reporting, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Assist in financial management, including budgeting and financial reporting.
• Lead team development, recruitment, training, performance appraisals, and engagement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved nursing program and current RN license.
• At least two years of nurse management experience in a skilled nursing setting.
• Knowledge of nursing practices, federal and state regulations, and Medicare/RAI processes.
• Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings.
