Job summary

Tutera Senior Living & Health Care seeks a Director of Nursing (DON) in Belleville, IL to lead nursing services, ensure quality care, and supervise the Nursing Department 24/7. This role offers competitive compensation and a strong regional support structure.

RN licensed in Illinois with 2+ years of nurse supervision in LTC/SNF/AL/MC, plus an associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing, is required. You will join a team focused on staff development, mentorship, and excellent resident care.

Qualifications

Current RN license in the state where you practice.
Associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred.
Two years of nurse supervision experience are required.
Prior LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting experience is required.
Excellent written and oral communication skills and a professional image.

Responsibilities

Administer and manage Nursing Services to residents in accordance with physician orders and resident needs.
Provide 24-hour supervision of Nursing Services and supervise the Nursing Department to maintain quality standards of care.
In the Administrator’s absence, assume responsibility for center operations.
