Oak Village Healthcare is seeking an experienced
Director of Nursing (RN) to lead our skilled nursing facility in Oaktown, IN.
As the
Director of Nursing Services (DNS), you will oversee the daily operations of the nursing department and help drive quality care outcomes for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:- Schedule and assign nursing staff to meet patient care needs; monitor and follow up on performance.
- Foster a positive work environment and provide support to residents and their families.
- Serve as a resource for patients and healthcare team members by answering questions and providing information.
- Ensure that all significant changes in resident conditions are promptly communicated to physicians and family/responsible parties.
Qualifications:- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum one year of nurse leadership experience in a long-term care setting (ADON or DON).
- Strong understanding of state and federal regulations.
- Experience working with the geriatric population preferred.
