Job summary

Fiber Hire is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) for a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Brockton, MA. This full-time leadership role oversees nursing operations, ensures regulatory compliance, and advances resident care through policy development and staff mentorship.

The DON must hold an MA RN license with at least two years in a DON role; MA DPH regulatory knowledge is essential. The position offers up to $150,000 with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Massachusetts is required.
• Minimum of two years as DON in a skilled nursing facility.
• Strong knowledge of long-term care regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily nursing operations to ensure high-quality resident care.
• Develop and maintain nursing policies in line with regulations.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local care standards.
• Lead and support nursing staff; promote accountability and teamwork.
• Monitor outcomes and implement quality improvements.
• Maintain survey readiness and support regulatory inspections.
• Collaborate with leadership, physicians, and teams to improve outcomes.
• Communicate with residents, families, and staff about needs.
• Promote resident safety, dignity, and quality of life.
• Maintain accurate documentation and PCC data.
• Use EMR to support operations.
• Address clinical challenges promptly and professionally.
