Job summary

Fiberhire seeks an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing department at a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Brockton, MA. The DON will oversee daily operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote high-quality resident care.

The ideal candidate holds an active MA RN license, 2+ years as DON in long-term care, and strong leadership, communication, and PCC proficiency. This is a full-time, in-person role with a competitive salary up to $150,000.

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered RN license in Massachusetts.
• Minimum of two years of experience as a Director of Nursing in a skilled nursing facility.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local long-term care regulations.
• Experience with regulatory surveys and maintaining compliance.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the nursing department to ensure high-quality resident care.
• Develop, implement, and maintain nursing policies and procedures in accordance with applicable regulations.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local healthcare regulations and clinical standards.
• Lead, supervise, and support nursing staff while promoting accountability and teamwork.
• Monitor clinical outcomes and implement quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain survey readiness and support successful regulatory inspections.
• Collaborate with facility leadership, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to improve resident outcomes.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff regarding care needs and concerns.
• Promote resident safety, dignity, and quality of life.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with facility policies.
• Use electronic medical record systems to support efficient nursing operations.
• Address clinical challenges promptly and professionally.
