Job summary

Royal Health Group in Massachusetts seeks a Director of Nursing (DON) to lead nursing services across long-term, sub-acute, and memory care units. You will supervise staff, coordinate care plans, and ensure regulatory compliance while delivering resident-centered care.

The DON will oversee medications, MDS processes, and interdisciplinary collaboration to optimize outcomes. Strong leadership and clinical expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse in Massachusetts with leadership experience in long-term care.
• Experience supervising nursing staff and case management.
• Knowledge of state/federal regulations and HIPAA.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, directs, supervises and evaluates nursing care for residents.
• Provides guidance to non-professional staff and ensures proper staffing.
• Manages patient care assignments per staff competencies and needs.
• Schedules and follows up on nursing tasks; monitors results.
• Communicates changes in residents' conditions to physicians and families.
• Maintains accurate resident records in compliance with regulations.
