Job summary

SNFout in the Greater Milwaukee area is seeking a Director of Nursing to lead its nursing department and set the clinical standard for the building. This on-site, full-time role provides an opportunity to drive resident outcomes and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.

You will oversee patient care plans, documentation, MDS accuracy, and CMS/wisconsin survey readiness while coaching RNs, LPNs, and CNAs across shifts, ensuring staffing and quality.

Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin RN license or multistate license (compact)
• Prior DON or ADON experience in skilled nursing or long-term care
• Working knowledge of CMS regulations and survey process
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and hold accountable the RN, LPN and CNA team across all shifts
• Own clinical quality, survey readiness and CMS and Wisconsin requirements
• Oversee care plans, clinical documentation and MDS accuracy with the IDT
• Manage nurse staffing, scheduling, hiring and retention
• Lead QAPI, infection prevention oversight and staff education
