The Nursing Director coordinates all aspects of Emergency Services in conjunction with the Chair of Emergency Medicine and/or medical directors for each facility to maximize all components of the UC Health System. Uses advanced education, administrative and clinical knowledge and skills to find innovative methods to enhance and improve the quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the UC Health Emergency Services. The Director of Emergency Services is responsible for achieving shared operational management between University of Cincinnati Medical Center (60%) and West Chester Hospital (40%), and fostering collaboration between physicians and hospital departments to positively impact patient care.
Minimum requirements include a Master's Degree in Nursing, licensure as a Registered Nurse in Ohio, BLS certification, and preferred specialty certifications. Candidates should have 3-5 years of relevant experience.
