The College of Westchester seeks an experienced nursing educator to serve as Director of Nursing for our new Practical Nursing (LPN) Certificate Program in White Plains, NY. Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered RN license in New York State.
• Minimum of three years of teaching in nursing education.
• Master’s in Nursing required; Doctorate preferred.
• Full-time teaching experience preferred.
• Clinical experience in acute care, long-term care, or community health.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall academic and administrative leadership for CW's Practical Nursing program.
• Lead the implementation and launch of the newly developed LPN curriculum.
• Oversee curriculum implementation, mapping, assessment, and improvement.
• Ensure NYSED regulatory and nursing education compliance.
• Coordinate clinical placements and relationships with partners.
• Recruit, supervise, and evaluate nursing faculty and staff.
• Integrate classroom, simulation, and clinical education effectively.
• Support faculty credentialing and instructional assignments.
• Monitor student outcomes, NCLEX-PN readiness, and progress policies.
• Collaborate with Academic Affairs and external stakeholders.
• Assist with required reports, reviews, and site visits.
