Job summary
Goodwin University is seeking a Program Director for the Practical Nursing (PN) program at East Hartford and Bridgeport locations. You will provide academic leadership, administrative oversight, and manage didactic, lab, and clinical components.
You will lead curriculum development, program outcomes, and collaborates with faculty and external partners. You will recruit students, participate in committees, and coordinate with healthcare facilities to meet workforce needs while ensuring compliance
Qualifications
- Hold current RN licensure in Connecticut.
- Possess an earned graduate degree in nursing from an accredited institution.
- Demonstrate experience teaching in a nursing education program.
- Demonstrate administrative and leadership experience relevant to nursing education and program oversight.
Responsibilities
- Plans, administers, manages, and evaluates PN programs and courses.
- Guides curriculum development, assessment, and program outcomes.
- Collaborates with faculty, staff, and community partners to address workforce trends.
- Oversees compliance with accreditation and regulatory requirements.
- Maintains partnerships with healthcare providers and educational organizations.
