Your Job Summary

The Director of Nursing (DON) will be responsible for the administration and management of Nursing Services to residents in accordance with physicians' orders and residents' needs. Responsible for 24-hour supervision of Nursing Services and directing the Nursing Department to maintain quality standards of care in accordance with Federal, State, and Company standards, guidelines, and regulations. In the absence of the Administrator, the DON assumes responsibility for center operations. The position involves conducting the nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation—under the scope of the State’s Nurse Practice Act and Registered Nurse licensure.

Your Responsibilities

• Coordinate care plans for residents, complying with physician’s orders, regulations, and facility policies.
• Communicate policies and monitor staff practices.
• Participate in admissions decisions and visit prospective residents.
• Attend management meetings to discuss resident status, census, staff, and concerns.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Your Qualifications
