Job summary

Altercare Canal Winchester is hiring a Director of Nursing (RN) to lead and direct nursing services, ensuring high-quality resident care in compliance with state and federal regulations. The role emphasizes planning, organizing, and delivering nursing care with a focus on compassionate leadership.

The ideal candidate will have ADON/DON experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility, BSN preferred, and a strong commitment to excellence.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• 5 years in Skilled Nursing preferred.
• Current licensure in the state employed; CPR certification and driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish and implement standards of resident care on a 24-hour basis.
• Develop and maintain nursing service objectives, facility and departmental policies and procedures, standards of practice, coordination with other disciplines, and adherence to all regulatory requirements.
• Assist in the development of the facility's annual budget and monitor expenditures.
• Coordinate nursing service with community agencies, physicians, families, residents, consultants and other departments within the facility.

Job Responsibilities

Job Requirements
