Salary: Negotiable, commensurate with experience

The Gardens At York Terrace is seeking a passionate and dynamic Director of Nursing (DON/DNS) who is an RN to lead our exceptional nursing team. We offer both interim/temporary and full-time opportunities with competitive salaries based on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

1. Oversee and manage all aspects of patient care by effectively scheduling and assigning nursing staff, ensuring optimal work results and patient outcomes.
2. Foster a positive and supportive work environment that prioritizes the needs of residents and their families, promoting a culture of compassion and excellence.
3. Serve as a vital resource for patients and the healthcare team by addressing inquiries and facilitating effective communication.
4. Proactively monitor residents' conditions, ensuring significant changes are communicated promptly to physicians and family members or responsible parties.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license with at least one year of leadership experience in a long-term care setting, such as an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) or Director of Nursing (DON).
• Comprehensive knowledge of state and federal regulations governing nursing care.
• Experience working with the geriatric population is preferred.
