The Director of Nursing (DON) plays a pivotal role in overseeing the nursing staff and ensuring the highest standards of patient care within our facility. The DON will be responsible for developing care plans, ensuring compliance with resident rights, and maintaining documentation standards. *Responsibilities*
- Lead and manage the nursing department, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for residents.
- Oversee shift management to ensure adequate staffing levels and quality of care.
- Conduct regular reviews of documentation to maintain accuracy and compliance.
- Ensure that resident rights are upheld and advocate for their needs.
- Facilitate training and development programs for nursing staff to enhance skills and knowledge.
