Job summary

Saber Healthcare Group is seeking a Director of Nursing for a skilled nursing facility to organize, develop, manage and direct the Nursing Service Department in line with federal and state standards. You will work with the Administrator and Medical Director to ensure high-quality resident care and infection control.

This full-time role requires an active RN license, CPR/BLS, and at least two years of supervisory experience in long-term care.

Qualifications

• Must have active RN license in applicable state
• CPR/BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in a nursing or related healthcare setting, preferably long-term care
• Must have basic computer skills and ability to navigate EHR systems

Position Summary:

As the Director of Nursing in a SNF setting it is your responsibility to organize, develop, manage, and direct the overall operations of the Nursing Service Department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern the community. The Director of Nursing is to work directly with the Administrator and the Medical Director to ensure the highest degree of quality of care is maintained for each resident at all times. Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration and Nursing Policies and Procedures.

Education/Qualification:

• Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as a RN within the state in which you work.
• Must possess a current CPR or BLS certification.
• Must have a minimum two (2) years of experience in a supervisory role in a nursing community or other related healthcare community, preferably in long term care.
• Must possess basic computer skills and ability to navigate through various software programs, including electronic health record software.
