Job summary

Saber Healthcare Group is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) to oversee the Nursing Service Department in a skilled nursing facility. You will lead the team, ensure quality resident care, and work with Administration and Medical Director to meet standards.

The role requires RN licensure, CPR/BLS, and at least two years of supervisory experience in a nursing setting. Strong leadership and EHR skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current RN license in the state where you work.
• CPR or BLS certification required.
• Minimum two years of supervisory experience in a nursing setting, preferably long-term care.
• Basic computer skills and ability to navigate EHR software.

Position Summary:

As the Director of Nursing in a SNF setting it is your responsibility to organize, develop, manage, and direct the overall operations of the Nursing Service Department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern the community. The Director of Nursing is to work directly with the Administrator and the Medical Director to ensure the highest degree of quality of care is maintained for each resident at all times. Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration and Nursing Policies and Procedures.

Education/Qualification:

• Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as a RN within the state in which you work.

• Must possess a current CPR or BLS certification.

• Must have a minimum two (2) years of experience in a supervisory role in a nursing community or other related healthcare community, preferably in long term care.

• Must possess basic computer skills and ability to navigate through various software programs, including electronic health record software.
